Modern Stage Service Go Bollywood Again

New Delhi-based Modern Stage Services provided one of the unforgettable highlights last year, staging regularly choreographed Bollywood dance performances as a theatre to demonstrate their vast array of distributed products.

Brothers Davinder and Varinder Wadhwa this year plan to show their consolidated distribution portfolio, including lighting from Italian companies SGM, DTS and Studio Due, PR Lighting from China — and Zero 88 from the UK. In addition, they also expect to show smoke machine products from MDG, communication systems from Altair Audio and special effects from Global Trussing and SFAT.

Modern Stage Service has been is in the business for over five decades and has supplied and installed stage lighting and complete furnished systems in over 1000 auditoria throughout India.

One of their most prestigious contracts has been the illumination of the ancient monument in Delhi known as the Sher Shah Gate and Khair-ul-Manzil complex with LED lighting. “At the same time we are in the process of supplying DTS moving heads to the 2,000-capacity Siri Fort Auditorium, the biggest in Delhi,” says Davinder. “This is in addition to approximately 15 other auditorium projects taking place at present.”

In the rental division Modern Stage Service specialise in major shows, and recently handled the production for the biggest concert staged by celebrated film music composer, A.R.Rahman.
